Sharp Japan has announced four new DVR's under its Aquos range. Common features include DVD burner, i-Link, EPG with support for programming via mobile phone and a 10 bit Image DAC. Starting with the low end DV-AC80 it has a analog / digital TV tuner and 250 GB hard drive. The other three models come with 2 x Digital and 1 x Analog tuner with USB ports. The recorders will be going on sale in Japan from March 20, the DV-ACW90 with 1TB hard drive will sell for 160,000 Yen ($1500), DV-ACW85 with 500GB hard drive will sell for 110,000 Yen ($1065), DV-ACW82 with 250GB hard drive for ($875) and the low end DV-AC80 with 250GB hard drive will sell for 75,000 Yen ($725).
